Our friends Kateri and Damion got married! This is Kateri with her father. Isn't she pretty?!

私たちの友達のカティリとデミオンが結婚しました！この写真はカティリとお父さんです。本当に美しいですね！

At the reception, this is what our table looked like. The wedding and reception took place in their backyard. It was a beautiful wedding for a wonderful couple!

披露宴ではこれが私たちのテーブルでした。結婚式と披露宴は裏庭にありました。素晴らしいのカップルのためのきれいな結婚式でした！

カティリとデミオンはケーキを切っています。それは刀ですが、二人とも「るろうに剣心」が好きですので、反対の剣身の刀です。デミオンは武芸者でカティリはデミオンと勉強しています。

My bento! Every Tuesday I bring my lunch to class. The hashi/spoon set and furoshiki were a gift from Shirai-sensei so I think of her when I use them.

私の弁当です！毎週火曜日授業にランチを持って行きます。箸とスポーンのセットと風呂敷は白井先生からのプレゼントなので、それを使うとき白井先生のことを覚えています。

Everyone deserves an education! I saw these on a walk down Michigan Ave. with my friend. There were many other ballons that had messages like this on it.

皆が教育に値します。私は友達とミシガン通りで散歩してそれを見ました。たくさんのこれようなメッセージのバルーンがありました。

Me! On Friday I decided to wear my fun socks, which are dark red and purple. I always feel very happy when I wear them. Brian thought I looked cute so he took a picture.

私！金曜日に紅と紫の楽しいソックスを履いて決めました。履くとき私はいつもとてもハッピーを感じます。ブライアンは私のことが可愛かったと思いましたので、写真を撮りました。

On Wednesday it was the start of the High Holy Days, the first of which is Rosh Hashanna, the Jewish New Year. We eat sweet foods for a sweet year. When I was in Japan I made Honey Cake for my coworkers but since I had an oven this year I made Challah, or braided egg bread. It had raisins inside. I brought it to class so that my friends could have some. Brian also got a whole loaf to himself!

水曜日には「ハイホリデーズ」が始まりました。最初の ハイホリデーズはユダヤ教の正月の「ロッシュハシャナ」です。ユダヤ人は甘い年のために甘い物を食べます。日本にいるときに私は同僚にホニーケーキを料理しましたが、今年オーブンがあって卵の結うパンのハーラを作りました。パンの中にレーズンがありました。友達が食べるのために授業に持って行きました。ブライアンは全部のパンを食べられました！
